Here we have, a nice, Victorian Bride's Bowl, with a silver plate stand.
It can be found in the Victorian Art Glass book, and it dates to the 1880's.
The stand is marked Walker & Hall, Sheffield on the bottom of the base.
Both are in excellent condition, with no damage found. The stand has been cleaned before I purchased the item.
Very nice small bowl, with applied rigaree around the center of the bowl, which supports it setting in the stand.
It measures 3" high, 5 1/2" wide and has a 2 3/4" base.
The stand measures 5 1/2" high, 6" wide, with a 3 1/4" hole, and is 6 3/8" at the feet.
Very nice set to add to a collection of Bride's Baskets!
Hard to find bowl, according to the book!!
