Circa the early 1800s, this engraving, signed Richardson NV is a rendering of the Hall of the Abencerrajes: an interior view of the Alhambra in Spain. It is framed with convex glass (also known as bubble glass or domed glass) and depicts women and men wearing traditional dress including combs with Mantillas and Andalusian hats. It measures a diminutive five inches across by six inches high. There is scattered foxing in the margins, but the image appears to be clean.
