This is a beautiful antique heavy brass and copper circa the early 1900's Arabian coffee pot (called a dallah). It has a tinned interior; hourglass shape, curved handle, integrated dome-shaped lid with a finial, a beak-like spout, and is decorated on the lid with concentric bands. With a design straight out of the Arabian Knights, this rustic server was traditionally used to brew and serve Qawha or Khaleeji.
This urn stands approximately fourteen inches tall and twelve inches from spout to handle. Marked with a heart shaped impression surrounding an Arabic character, and sporting a beautiful patina, this would make an excellent addition to any connoisseur's collection!
