A very handsome circa 1850 - 1860 tested 9K Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver applied to heavy brass Belt Buckle. The sterling center slide is engraved with the letters A G (or GA), while the foliate engraved receiver is in yellow gold. In proper working order, this fine piece measures two and one-quarter inches long by one and one half inch wide. In excellent antique condition, it was most likely made for a gentleman, but it would be very appropriate for a lady as well.
