A circa late 1930's to early 1940's autumn scene of a covered bridge on a country road by Who Was Who in American Art listed artist George Weisenburg (1886 - 1962). From Oak Park, Weisenburg studied and showed in 1935 at the Chicago Institute of Art. This piece measures approximately fifteen and one half inches by twenty one and one half inches framed. I believe it to be the original craftsman style enameled white wood frame. The frame is in good condition, the matting needs replacing, and the art is in very good to excellent vintage condition.
