Here is an antique English cuspidor in pale blue on ivory dating around 1870. This is a beautiful example of the transfer-ware done during this period as evidenced in the design. Not many of these pieces survived after their use had lost fashion and function, and this particular one is in near perfect condition as you can see from the photos. The measurements are 7" diameter at the top and 8" diameter at the bottom, while the height is 6 1/2". This is a great piece for one who collects transferware or cuspidors!
