Here is a wonderful photocard of a family wedding taking place in either Austria Hungary or Germany prior to or just before World War I. The clue is in the Iron Cross emblem worn by the groom who is in military uniform. Also the house shown on the left is typical of those found in that area of Europe. This photo was obviously very important to someone and was glued onto a paperboard mount to preserve it through the years; it may have even been put into a picture frame at some point in time. In good condition for the age (it also has a charming little drawing on the back, obviously done by a child), the photo measures 4 1/2" by 6 1/2" and the paperboard measures 5 3/4" by 7 3/4". Why not adopt this family into your collection?
