Here's a rarely seen complete coffee set put out by the Edison Electric Company under the trade name of Hotpoint. It is interesting to note that both Edison and GE had decided to merge into one company in 1892 and by 1907 were introducing a full line of heating and cooking devices. On one photo of the underside of the serving tray you will see the patent numbers and company names; also I've pictured the bottom of one of the serving pieces. This set includes the percolator with the strainer and the original cord; cream and sugar servers; and the serving tray, all in chrome plated metal and in near mint condition! Also included is an original Hotpoint advertising sheet showing another model of coffee sets that were offered. The dimensions are 13" in height and 6" in diameter (excluding the handles) for the percolator, and the tray is 14" in diameter.
What a great set for someone special!
