This rarely seen tin was manufactured for the S. Fry & Sons company of Bristol in England around 1890. The unusual Egyptian motif is extremely detailed and combined with the statuesque shape of the tin, makes quite a statement from every angle! On the bottom is printed the details of the commodity (cocoa extract) and the provenance. Although there is some loss to the details from handling through the past 100+ years, it is still in remarkably good condition. Dimensions are 6" in height and 3" square.
