Here's an early great tobacco tin from the Larus Bros. Company of Richmond, Virginia. In 1913 they introduced their Edgeworth line which was the first pipe tobacco ready to smoke without cutting; it was "ready rubbed". Done in a fancy concave square shape with the double top that has an insert for keeping the tobacco dry, this was their top of the line product. In beautiful condition for its' age, it measures 4 1/2" square and 6 1/2" high.
