This pocket watch holder dates around 1900 and was designed in the neo-classical style of the day, depicting a peasant carrying a garland wreath. Made of cast iron with a gilt finish, you'll see in the photo of the underside that it has the original screw in the base along with four corner holes which indicate that it was probably mounted on some kind of extended platform like marble. The measurements are 7" in height, 3 3/4" in width, and 2 1/4" in depth. A nice piece to show off that beautiful pocket watch!
