This miniature size oil lamp dates around 1880/1890 and comes from Europe.
It is made of mold blown cerulean blue milkglass, and has a "Star Brenner" burner of solid brass and a hand blown chimney. These smaller oil lamps were used primarily for bedrooms and other areas where just a bit of light was needed to navigate around furniture, etc. Today they are always being sought after by collectors of antique lighting or glassware.
