Bristol Glass was at it's peak of popularity during the late Victorian period, and this is a fine example of the kind being produced then. With a beautiful shape and crown, this vase is blown/mold in the ever so popular "Bristol Blue" color, with a hand painted scene of a stork with flowers in a marsh of leaves and water. A few areas are highlighted with white enamel. In excellent condition, it stands 9 1/2" in height and is 3 1/2" at the widest point. A wonderful piece for the glass collector!
