Here's a stunning pair of antique glass vases dating around the turn of the 19th/20th century. Similar to the Bristol glass from England, these vases are blown/mold and finished in a soft satin yellow background with hand painted poppies, stalks and leaves in glossy enamel. Delicate enamel beading is applied as here and there to highlight certain details with a gilt finish. They stand 9" in height and are 4 1/4" at the widest point. In excellent condition, it is obvious that they were well cared for through the years.
