Here is a great pair of antique tobacco tins from America! The green tin is from the American Tobacco Company with the names Allen & Ginter, and was made at Factory #14 in the Second District of Richmond, Virginia; this dates it around the 1890's. Awards were given for this mixture which was created by the original owners of the company, Allen & Ginter, in Paris and Philadelphia in 1878. In good condition, it measures 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" and is 2 1/4" in height. The red tin is from the Cameron & Cameron Co. which marketed the Richmond Club Mixture. On the upper right side are two gentlemen (Cameron & Cameron) which was their trade mark, and the price of 10 cents, and this dates around 1890 also. Also in good condition, it measures 4 1/2" by 3 1/4" and is 2 1/4" in height.
