SALE! 15% OFF! Offered is a pretty vintage luncheon set in the popular color combination of blue and white. It is an all-over pattern of blossoms which is similar to a calico, so we will call it that. The producer is Regal Pottery Company, one of the famous Stokes on Trent Cobridge potteries. The back stamp confirms these were Made in England. We are unsure as to the date of production as we have not found similar on the internet. One source says Regal Pottery only functioned between 1925-1931. Another indicates Regal was purchased by Enoch Wedgwood in 1974. So, we will attribute this to pre-1975. The set is incomplete and consists of the following 27 pieces. Six lunch plates at 8 1/2" diameter; 10" oval platter; 8 1/2 x 23/4" oval vegetable bowl; five 6" cake plates; four 5" berry bowls (plus one with chip, one with fracture); a 3 x 3/12" creamer; a 4 1/2" tall x 6" including handles and lid sugar bowl; five 5 1/4" saucers plus one with fracture; three 3 1/2 x 2 1/4" cups plus three more with chips at the underside of the lip. Should the set not sell as presented, we would consider breaking the set. Please note that these are earthenware pieces, not light china. They are heavy and the set as described is about 18 pounds before being packaged. Shipping costs will reflect that. Original price $100. Item 9217a
