SALE! 15% OFF! Offered is a cottage style county fair entry from 1926. Entered in the work bag category, it is charming in faded pink roses and blue birds floral cotton print. It is finished in blanket stitch and small plastic rings. The liner is a solid pink cotton machine stitched into sections that fold upon each other. The center panel has what we assume is a cardboard insert to add structure. This retains its original fair tag which identifies this as entered in Whiteside County (NW Illinois) to the Central Agricultural Society. We aren't sure what grade/4 means--is that good or mediocre? The bag is 17 x 17 when fully opened and 10 x 8 when folded. NOTE: the solid side flaps have minor staining; there are no holes. We are not sure how to correctly fold this and not sure what exact role the rings play. We have seen similar that have ribbon through the rings to draw up the sides. Item 8007a Lot 8/1/7
