Handsome formal hat from mid century. In a modified pill box style, it has a curved shape that shows off the mottled copper velvet to good effect. Three panels form the height--the bottom panel hosts four tabs made of copper tone seed beads. At the back, a tab is formed with bead decoration. The first and second panels are decorated with scattered rhinestones as is the veil.
Size: 7" across; 1 1/2" tall at front, 2 1/2" if tabs are included; 9 3/4" front to back; 12 1/4" side to side if tabs included; 18" inner band circumference. We place this in the '50s/'60s
Condition: good vintage. NOTE-the veil has a couple breaks, one would not want to wear it pulled down
