SALE! 25% OFF! Offered is a grouping of 24 ball buttons on their original card. Actually, we need to modify that--they are more or less on the original card as most have fallen out of their holes. The design of straight line with bent corner cartouche leads us to believe these are early 20th century--not fully art nouveau, but not deco yet either. The small 3/8" buttons are in a lightweight metal with a blue iridescent coating. In the middle are silver tone ridged spokes and center. These possibly could be sterling inserts, but we will not make that claim. The shanks are metal. The buttons are all in very good shape, but the card is less so--it is dirty from at least a century of storage--one may want to wipe down each button also. The card is also torn and as mentioned, most of the buttons are now off the card--whatever held them--possibly thread has mostly disintegrated. The card is 6 1/4 x 3 3/4". Item 7007a Lot 7/1/7
