REDUCED! Offered is a silly candy container which we think was meant for Easter treats. We had thought he was a bird or a bug, but another person has advised us this is a bunny who has lost his ears. We think he remains awfully cute. He is flocked paper with a white pebbly head and body. He is wearing a plush red shirt and red bellhop style hat. Tinting helps to define his facial features and his feet. His brown eyes are craft shop origin. A yellow frayed ribbon is at his neck which is on a spring, so he is a nodder. The short springs on his head apparently held the missing ears. Something strange is hanging from his mouth. We think is is a deflated pipe in a used bubble gum pink. He separates at his waist and the interior is small print paper. One usually finds where this was made hidden in the print on the inside or on the bottom of the feet. We found a smeared stamp on the bottom of the feet, but cannot make it out. We would guess this is either Germany or Japan. This guy measures 7 1/2" tall, 3" base at the feet and 12" in circumference at the widest. He is in good vintage condition--body is not caved or torn. Note that one of the antenna springs and his ears are missing. Since discovering that he is missing his ears, we are adjusting the price accordingly. Reduced from $45 to $20 Item 6127a Lot 7/1/7
