LAST CALL! 40% OFF! Offered is a very dainty ladies summer dress from mid-century. It appears to have been home tailored. The fabric is what makes this so dainty--in a look similar to watered silk, it features a pink background with pink and blue flower blossoms on a fabric that is tissue weight. The dress has a fold back collar and short sleeves with underarm gusset. The front closes with three large 1" white pearlized buttons and the side has a 10" metal zipper. The waist is cummerbund style with an upward curve. The skirt is full. The hem is unfinished, has white bias tape, but has not been hemmed. Details: 16" shoulder to waist; 34 1/4" waist to hem; 39 1/2" bust; 29 1/2" waist and 14" across back. PLEASE NOTE: this has a couple issues: on the right side the seam is open for about an inch at the waist--an easy repair. Not so easy are a series of pea size and larger holes on the left front of the skirt on the lower 1/3 (see pics). If it helps at all, as the dress falls on the model, these are hidden by the skirt folds. This has been hand washed and air dried and hand pressed and tolerated that quite well.
