Offered is a gorgeous example of a 1960, mod style mini coat dress. We are assuming this was meant for evening or cocktail wear as it is fashioned in heavy brocade. The swirls of color are an enticing combination of marigold, cream and silver outlined in gold metallic thread. This has a mandarin collar and a hidden zipper front placket. It is seamed at front and back with princess seams. The back is belted with two self fabric buttons for anchors. Details: 22" metal zipper; 20" long sleeves; 34 1/2" shoulder to 2 1/2" hem; 38 1/2" bust; 30" waist; 34" hip; 14" across back. We believe this to be home tailored as we found no label. The construction is good. This is in very good shape with no holes or stains. We did note that the threads are fraying at the edges of the mandarin collar. This has not been cleaned, but we note no odor. Original listing price $75. Item 2418a
