Offered is a luxuriant robe in black velveteen edged with white accordion pleated ruffles and lined in satin. It's high style is characteristic of the 1980/1990 designs of Georgette Trabolsi. This item was sold at Neiman Marcus, a further indication of its quality. This approaches the look of a evening gown with the use of lush velveteen and the contrast of the flattering white ruffle. The ruffle circles from the collar down the front and all the way around the hem and detours to form a rosette at the waist. Even the cuffs are adorned with ruffles. The satin lining is in a pearl tone and inside ties are at the front. A self fabric tie belt is 2" wide and 72" long. Listed as a Small, the measurements are: 3" stand up collar at the back; 14" across the back; 56 1/2" shoulder to hem; 25" sleeve; 36 1/2 across bust closed; 36" waist; 45" hip. Fabric contents are 85% arnel triacetate and 15% polyester. This robe is heavy at almost 2 pounds. We found no stains and no holes. We have not cleaned this item. Original listing price $75.
