SALE! 15% OFF! Offered is a lovely vintage wedding dress in the more demure style of the late '70's. In a cream tone, it lends itself well to day or evening weddings. The style includes an empire waist, and high lace collar. Lace is also used to embellish a front panel for the bodice which then circles the torso to the back. The long sleeves are slim at the shoulder but billow at the lace cuffs. The skirt is simple and drapes without pretense to the floor. The dress has a chiffon like overlay. Under this is a heavier weight fabric with a satin sheen on the top side and matte on the reverse. We found straps on the inside labeled Murray Hamburger and Company, a well-known wedding gown designer from the '60's/'70's. Additionally, we found a union made label and one that we believe indicates this is a size 8. The measurements are as follows: the lace embellishment is 4" wide; the collar is 1 1/2" wide; the front lace panel is 4 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" circling the torso; 22" metal back zipper; 13 1/2" across the back; 25" sleeves closed with 4 1/2" zippers on the lace; 53" shoulder to hem (note this is short on our model); 34" bust; 29" at the empire waist; 43" hip. This is in very good vintage shape. We found no tears, no stains. We did find a shadowy smudge less than dime size on the left side above the bust--we struggled with identifying this. Use the zoom feature to see this. We will be listing the floor length lace edged veil at a later time. It will be listed as item 2388b. We have not cleaned this but there is no odor. It was found stored in a plastic bag. Original listing price $125. Item 2388a
