LAST CALL! 30% OFF! Want gorgeous? Here it is--a vintage Mike Benet formal or long evening gown. The color alone- a lush turquoise in shiny satin--is enough to grab the entire room's attention, But, it succeeds fourfold by adding to the bodice squiggles of iridescent silver and green sequins. The front bodice is scoop neck. The back is a deep V. The skirt is famously simple. It has a flat front and is slightly pleated at the sides which are longer in length than the front and back. The waist is slightly below the natural waist. Details: The tag says this is a size 11---16" nylon zipper at back; 59 1/2" shoulder to hem in the front; 36 1/2" bust; 29" waist; 41" hip (remember, it is pleated). Mike Benet company was producing beautiful gowns as early as the late '60's. We believe this one to be late '70's or the '80's. PLEASE NOTE: almost perfect, but we did find the following: the zipper is open at the seam at the waist for about 2"--an easy repair; we found mild soil inside the neckline; there is soil at the hem on the right side; one dot size stain on the skirt back.
