Offered is a bright and cheerful spring coat in lime green. The fabric has a linear texture and it is dotted with scattered embroidered ovals. There is a 2 1/4" banded style collar with large plastic buttons on either side also in lime. The front closes with large hidden snaps. Remember the buttons at the collar? On the sides of the coat the idea is repeated with 3 button on a sewn down panel. The sides also have hidden slash pockets. The sleeves are dolman style and 23 1/4" from the natural shoulder. There are darts angling from the shoulder toward the bustline. It is mid length skimming right below the knee on the model. The coat is lined in avocado shade lining. We found only a union made label--no maker, no content, no size. WE believe this is from the latter part of the 20th century, the banded collar and fullness of the back tempt us to say later '70's. The fullness in back made measurements difficult, but here are the details: 14 1/4" across back; 40" shoulder to hem; 18" across the bust in the front when closed--full measurement not taken as the back is very full; 45" waist; 50" hip. This coat is heavy, but appropriate for spring transition. Original listing price $65. Item 13168a
