Lovely Baby Large Doll White Christening Gown Extra Long Early 20th Century

Lovely extra long baby or large doll christening gown. The bodice is a conjoined eyelet edging which creates a keyhole look. The stand-up collar is lace. The sleeves mimic leg o' mutton as they are fully gathered at the shoulder, but have narrow eyelet lace cuffs. The very long and full skit has scallop edge eyelet 17 1/2" border. This is a thin cotton fabric. The back has a 13 1/2" placket closed with 4 buttonholes and 3 buttons (one missing). This has been laundered and pressed. We personally prefer this type of garment to be starched especially given the light weight of the skirt. But, we know others do not like starching. so we did not. We would place this in early 20th century, possibly earlier. Please see condition report below.
Size: the following measurements are approximate. 16 1/2" chest; 46" long
Condition: good vintage. NOTE the following. This was laundered, but there remains some yellowing at the right shoulder--we tried to photo this, but staining is too light to show well. We did not use a whitening agent, perhaps that would address the issue. There is a tiny 1/2" hole on the right shoulder back. As noted above, the second button is missing.
