Offered is an authentic Pin Up Artist's Sketchbook calendar with illustrations by K O Munson. Munson was a well known mid 20th century illustrator who hit his stride with realistic and romanticized portraits of comely women in enticing poses. This example is a 1950 era perpetual calendar with 12 illustrations in full color. These were produced by Brown & Bigelow in St. Paul MN USA. The theme with this one is women of different countries in ethnic dress (undress) with sly lines like "Is my Turban Disturbin?" The calendar is bound with a red spiral. The pages are in good shape, except for January--the first page. There is minor spotting and it is separated for a couple spirals at the top. This measures 9 x 14 1/2. Original listing price $25.
