LAST CALL! 50% OFF! Offered is a lovely evening gown from the 1960's. In the prettiest shade of ballerina pink, it is completed in a shantung type fabric. The weight of the fabric allows this to drape will in its sheath outline. Although the color is what first attracts the eye, one quickly moves to the heavily beaded rolled collar and cap sleeves. Just a little sparkle added judiciously in order to entice and not overwhelm. The beading is pink and silver gray seed beads 1 1/2" wide with 1" dangling clear pink faceted beads. The 1 1/2" rolled collar is beaded and the 2" cap sleeves have two rows of the beading. The dress is nicely outlined by the front and back curved darts starting by the waist. The back treatment offers special details, too. The beaded collar at the back forms pointed ends closed with hook and eye. The opening continues for 10" and then begins the 14" nylon zipper. Details: 14 1/2" across back; 37 1/2" bust; 33" waist; 37 1/2" hip; 54 1/2" shoulder to 3" hem; left side skirt slit or kick pleat. This carries a label of John Stevens Highland Park (Illinois). PLEASE NOTE: we did find the following: there is a pinhole on the right side above the hip (in pics it is right above shot of hand) and when we held dress up to the light, we noted a pin hole on the middle of the chest in area of breasts. Again, this last one we did not see until the dress was held to the light. Also, there is a smear on the back inside of the collar on the right side--similar to a make up smear. There may be beads missing, but if so we missed noting them. This item has not been cleaned, but we note no unusual odor. Item 121276a
