LAST CALL! 20% OFF! Offered is a vintage, home tailored dress in a lovely shade of midnight blue. It is simply made and maintains a retro vibe from the '40's or '50's. It has a scoop neckline with a bit of a twist--a semi-detached collar or band that fits below the neckline via snaps on the right side and sewn on the left. The 3/4 length sleeves are ruched at the sides. The set in waist leads to a full skirt. A self-fabric belt cinches the waist, but is lacking any snaps or hooks to close it. Perhaps it used a buckle? Details: 20" back zipper; 18 1/2" sleeves from the natural shoulders; 36 1/2" bust; 16 3/4" shoulder to waist ( the waist seam is uneven in our opinion); 27" from waist to 4" hem; 32 1/2" waist. We found no holes and no stains. This has not been cleaned but has been sanitized. We note no odor. We are suggesting this for costume or for theater production since it is not a high end, factory made piece. The velvet (or velveteen) is nicely napped, but some of the nap is running opposite.
