Both are wonderfully tailored in a black, silky fabric adorned with gold/silver flower medallions and broad tapestry bands. The dress features the tapestry in the 1 3/4" stand-up collar, the edges of the sleeves, the 4 3/4" hem band and the side slits. The coat carries this further with bands down the front, the sleeves and a wide 6" band at the hem. The coat closes with tapestry frogs (but really with hooks and eyes). The color of the tapestry seems to shift between silver and gold depending upon lighting. The coat is partially lined in a gorgeous wavy quilting in all black. The coat carries a label that reads: Minolta Custom Tailors PO Box K-33117 Kowloon Hong Kong." There is no fabric content or size listed. Details: Dress: 19" sleeves; 21" back zipper; 56" long; 36" bust; 15 1/2" across back; 33 1/2" waist; 39 1/2" hip. Coat: 22 1/2" sleeves; 14 1/4" across back (not sure why this measures less than the dress): 56" long; 42" chest; 41" waist; 42" hip. We have found no holes and no stains, but PLEASE NOTE: the back of the dress in the zipper area shows snagging as does under the left armhole. Also, note the coat itself weighs almost 2 pounds.
