SALE! 10% OFF!Offered is a handsome mid century, sophisticated office or day dress. The color fits right in with today's trends--squash orange. The fabric appears to be a twill in a blend. It is the strong design features that will convince you that this deserves to worn with confidence today. It has a flare collar leading to a corded yoke that extends over the shoulders. At the back, the yoke forms a "U" and sports a single fabric covered button. The front of the bodice is set off by a flared bow. The sleeves are 3/4 length. The skirt is sheath form with a back kick pleat. A self fabric belt cinches the waist. Slash pockets closer to the front than the sides completes the tailored look. We are unsure as to the date of this--it could be as early as the '40's, but as late as the '60's. Details: belt--3/4" wide x 26" at shortest hole, 29 1 /2" for the longest. Dress: 18 1/4" sleeves; 29" waist; 36" bust; 37 1/2" hip; 45 1/2" shoulder to 2 1/2" hem; 10" side metal zipper. PLEASE NOTE: we have found no tears and no stains, except for the following--note in the pics that the right sleeve has a discoloration of about 1/2". We are not sure what this is--perhaps it could be removed. Also, there is smudging right along the seam of the plunge of the front neckline. We have not cleaned this item. We found no labels--perhaps this is home tailored. If so, someone did a fine job. Original price $85. Item 115367a
