SALE! 15% OFF! Offered is an exciting example of a 1960 dress. We would not have been surprised to see Twiggy wear it. First--the color is fabulous--a saffron tone. Second, it is off course made of polyester for easy wear and care. Thirdly, the style incorporates some space age details. The fabric is a heavily textured wave pattern. The style is slightly angled. At the neckline and at the hem are rolled bands which are "stuffed" to give a true rolled effect. Two bands at the neck account for 2" and the single hem band is 1 1/2". Note the hem band helps to create the angled effect. It is sleeveless, but we wonder if it could transition the seasons with a long sleeved T shirt underneath. We would like black with black tights. The dress is lined with a similar saffron color. We did find a label that says Stephen O'Grady, but it is not a professional label, but more one that home tailors used. Details: 23" back metal zipper; 15" across the back; 39 1/2" shoulder to hem; 19" armhole; 37" bust; 37" waist; 41" hip. We found no holes, no stains. We have not cleaned this piece and find no odor.
