LAST CALL! 45% OFF! We are most pleased to offer this quite wonderful 1920 era beaded dance dress. Any savvy flapper would have been pleased to don this. As an added benefit, this appears to be size medium--so often these are extra small. The dress is in a muted tone of peach chiffon. It is heavily decorated with silver tone seed beads and white faux seed pearls. These form the front and back design which are two ovals in white with 6 petals each in the silver. A little lower than the hip are bands of squared ovals with up-pointing silver "petal." The hem is widely notched with beaded opening flowers with clear rhinestones. At each side the beaded chiffon is gathered into a clutch which makes the hem longer at the sides. The scoop neckline is edged in a thin band of silver and white beads and a faux pointed collar. This is sleeveless. Note the following measurements carefully: 44 1/4" shoulder/hem; 42 1/2" bust; 45 1/2" waist; 45 1/2" hip; 19" armhole. Remember, these dresses were meant to hang loosely with no definiton between bust, waist, hip. PLEASE NOTE: this is in very fine vintage condition. We found no stains. But, we did find that the right armhole has a tear at the seamline--a relatively easy repair--less easy are two less than 1" shatter tears to the side of the armhole toward the front. We also found mysterious pinholes above the beaded band at the back. Would this have been some beading--later removed? We did not note bead loss, but cannot rule it out as the beading is extensive. This has not been cleaned, but we note no unusual odors. Item 10416a
