20" Antique Bisque Mabel by Armand Marseille on her original leatherette body. Part of Armand Marseille Name Series dolls. Other dolls in the series included Rosebud, Alma, Lily, Beauty, Darling and Princess to name a few. Striking redhead girl with a peachy complexion. Doll has blue gray stationary eyes with finely painted upper and lower lashes. She has finely painted reddish brown feathered brows that are molded too for added depth. She has an open mouth with four teeth and delicately blushed cheeks. Doll has an old red mohair wig in soft waves. She has her original leatherette body with pin joints for easy sitting. Her original bisque arms are beautifully modeled with perfect fingers. She wears a beautiful old sheer paisley print dress with antique lace trim. An old metal bar pin decorates neckline. Doll wears antique white cotton pantaloons with lace trim and a white cotton slip. White cotton stockings and old off white leatherette shoes complete her look. A light green satin bonnet with beige velvet flowers frames her head nicely. Doll is in beautiful condition with no hairline cracks or chips in her bisque. Her bisque is smooth with no scuffs or scratches. Her leatherette body is nice and firmly stuffed with no sagging or tears. Doll's wig is nice and clean with soft waves.
