Depression glass Doric and Pansy "Pretty Polly Party" dishes made in the hard to find ultramarine or teal as it is now called color. Doric and Pansy is a depression glass pattern made by the Jeannette Glass Company. Only this company made the ultramarine colored glass during the depression. It is a beautiful blue green color that can vary in shades. The Pretty Polly Party dishes were children size dishes made in a smaller size then the regular Doric and Pansy pattern. Any pieces from the Pretty Polly line are very hard to find. They were produced in pink and the ultramarine color. The ultramarine color is harder to find. This set has two cups and saucers and four plates. The one cup has a crack in the cup (see photo). The piece has been glued back nicely. It is included in the set because it displays nicely with the other saucer and they are hard to find. When turned the other way the crack is hard to see with the pattern in the glass. The other pieces are in wonderful condition with no cracks or chips. Circa 1937-1938. Wonderful little set in a beautiful color.
