8" Hard Plastic "Little Bo Peep" in her original window box. Many of these types of dolls were made in the 1950's and early 60's. They were made to be display dolls rather then play dolls. Most were given as gifts and they could be displayed nicely in a little girls room. Most of these dolls represented dolls from other countries or storybook characters. This pretty little miss has an auburn mohair wig and large blue eyes. Doll's eyes sleep and she had long painted upper lashes. She is jointed at her neck and arms. Her straight legs have molded white shoes. She wears a printed pink satin dress with pink and blue trim. She wears a blue felt bonnet and carries a yellow pipe cleaner staff. Doll is in excellent condition and was probably always kept in her box. She is very clean with bright color. Her box is also very nice with the clear plastic window still intact. Circa: mid 1950's. Box Marks: From the House of Dolls Chicago. Pretty storybook character.
