24 Antique Bisque Cuno and Otto Dressel "Sunshine Doll" Made for Sears Roebuck. The Sunshine Doll was made for Sears Roebuck in 1910. Sears used Happi Time for their doll and toy line. Sears did not make dolls but different German doll companies made the dolls for them. Cunno and Otto Dressel was one of many German firms Sears used. This lovely girl has the 1896 doll mold that was used for many years. She has brown paperweight eyes and finely painted upper and lower lashes. Her brows are beautifully feathered. She has an open mouth with four teeth and delicately blushed cheeks. She has her original light brown human hair wig in soft waves. Her original leather body has the pin joints for easy sitting. She has her original bisque arms and the Sunshine label on her body. She wears a beautiful cotton vintage dress in a small beige and rust check. The dress is fully lined. White pantaloons white stockings and black vintage shoes complete her look. Doll is in excellent condition with no hairline cracks or chips in her bisque. Her body is also very clean with no tears. Dolls wig is clean and full with no trims. Her clothes are clean with no stains or tears. Marks: 1896 COD 4 DEP. Body has paper label that states Sunshine Sears Roebuck Germany. Circa 1910. Beautifully done girl in a darling check dress.
