A beautifully detailed two thirds scale copy of an 18th century hand carved church pew from La Merced Cathedral in Antigua, Guatemala which survived the 1773 earthquake, with scroll carved crest ends, arms, front panels, and side shield coat of arms panels, turned spindle backs, and arch carved back support, all supported by three front turned legs with ball feet and three back square legs. Probably dates to the 20th century, in very good overall condition, with minor surface stains and imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 52.5 in H x 90.5 in W x 25.5 in D, with a 21 inch seat height. Ref: 8
