A fine impressionist landscape oil painting by English / American artist Bernhard Stafford Good (1893-1963). Good was born in England and moved to the United States, actively painting in Delaware and New York and became known as a illustrator of genre scenes. Oil on board, inscribed and monogrammed SG verso “Gray Day - Note,” as well as two additional labels identifying the painting as “On Loan from Grace Casey,” and housed in a simple molded wooden frame with a thin white highlight.
