A fine form burled walnut veneered three drawer serpentine chest with conforming crossbanded top with center floral paterae, crossbanded veneer drawer fronts with continuing floral center paterae around each key escutcheon and on each side of the chest, all supported by four splayed feet with bronze caps. This attractive chest dates to the 18th century, Continental in origin, in very good condition, with restorations and veneer spot losses, minor surface stains, and wear commensurate with age and use.
