A fine Italian, probably Venetian walnut two drawer commode with a subtle serpentine front, conforming molded edge top, foliate period brasses, nicely shaped skirt, and great patina. The commode dates to the 18th century and is in good overall condition with wonderful patina including beloved worm damage, some edge losses, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use.
