A decorative round faux book side table with gilt tooled leather top with center star decoration and single door, opening to an interior lined storage compartment, over a single drawer, supported by three tapered square legs terminating with spade feet. A Maitland-Smith gold label appears on the base. Dates to the second half of the 20th century in very good condition, with some surface rubs and losses, minor hinge restoration, and minor wear commensurate with age and use.
