A nicely made hand carved walnut Chippendale style tall chest with most of its original color finish intact, with molded cornice surmounting seven graduated long drawers, each with replaced brasses, and original wide board back, all supported with a carved bracket base. Probably Maryland or Pennsylvania in origin, circa late 18th century, in very good overall condition, with a refreshed finish, some surface scratches and cornice losses, edge and overall wear commensurate with age and use.
