A wonderful example of an English handkerchief gaming table with exceptional satinwood scrolled inlay on each of the top four panels. Once the top is rotated 45 degrees, each top triangle panel can be folded open to reveal a green felt-lined gaming surface, constructed with H form hinges, surmounting a single scroll inlaid frieze drawer with punched brass pulls, line inlay on the sides and tapered square legs, terminating with a decorative scroll-carved arched stretcher base with central urn finial and porcelain casters. This table dates to the late 19th century in very good overall condition, with replaced interior felt, minor inlay imperfections, repairs around a few of the hinges, and light surface wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 28.25 in H x 22.25 in square (closed), 30.75 in square (open). Ref: 8
