A beautiful round polychrome pottery compote with fox motif in the Art Nouveau style, with a ribbon lip bowl top and intentional craquelure interior finish and floral exterior decoration , supported by four standing foxes on a round painted base with geometric decoration. The “Amphora, Made in Czecho-Slovakia” stamp appears on the underside of the base, with 11995 and 20 embossed. Dates to the early 20th century in very good overall condition, with minimal imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use.
