A fine example of a solid patinated bronze eagle form flag topper or finial on wooden stand, circa 1810, found in the architectural salvage of a New Bedford, Massachusetts home. The patinated topper has great detail, with a loose bronze ball and mounting screw base, and is in very good overall condition, with minor expected surface wear commensurate with age and use.
