A fine restored or married walnut Queen Anne bonnet top walnut two piece highboy with broken arch pediment featuring three urn & spiral flame finials, surmounting an upper case with a small central drawer over four graduated long drawers, over a lower case with single long drawer over three fitted drawers, over a shaped skirt with two small acorn drops, and side case handles, all supported by four cabriole legs terminating with pad feet. The brasses appear to be period, but not original. Newport, Rhode Island in origin, dating to the mid-18th century, in very good overall condition, with some side and bonnet shrinkage cracks, drawer edge losses, and wear commensurate with age and use.
