19th c Mahogany Sideboard with Shaped Front & Tambour Doors - image 1 of 16

A good example of a 19th century mahogany sideboard with shaped front and top, three fitted frieze drawers over a center storage compartment with tambour doors, flanked by single doors, each with storage compartments. The case features a circular line inlay on the side doors, matching oval pineapple and swag decorated brasses, bookmatched veneers, cockbeaded drawers and doors, diamond inlay along the bottom of the case and line inlay on the corner legs. Very good overall condition, with some edging missing on the front right corner, minor surface imperfections on the top, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 40 ¾” H x 50 ½” W x 24” D. Ref: 4514
