A fine four-drawer Seymour School rectangular chest in mahogany with a conforming top featuring turret corners and line inlay, surmounting a four-drawer case with fine banded drawer fronts with cockbeading, punched eagle decorated brass pulls, flanked by reeded corner columns, all supported by four nicely turned feet. Mahogany and Eastern pine secondary woods used in drawer construction with nice blocking, typical of the Seymour workshop. The chest is in very good condition, with some surface imperfections, scratches to top, minor losses, and other wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 38.5 in H x 41 in W x 22 in D. Ref:8
